This past week, we began preparing the next update for our game “Sexville Portal.” There aren’t too many changes yet, but each one is important. Work is in full swing, and today I’ll tell you what’s been done.

What’s Already Ready

Over the past few days, the team has completed several key tasks:

• We’ve finished almost all images. The visual part of the new scenes and episodes is in its final stage. Only minor tweaks remain, which won’t take much time.
• We’ve added sounds for new moments in the game. Now, not only the visuals but also the audio will make your journeys through the worlds more lively and atmospheric.
• We’ve fixed code in several places. The programmer eliminated some minor issues and optimized certain mechanics.
• We’ve started translating the game into other languages. Localization of new texts is already underway. As before, neural networks are helping us — they handle fantasy terminology and card mechanics perfectly.

When to Expect the Update

I hope the game update will be published within the next 7 days. We’re doing everything possible to meet this deadline.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been creating images for random encounters that will appear on your path during runs through the worlds. The work has been time-consuming, but I hope you’ll be pleased with the results. Here are the details.

The Meticulous Process of Creating Scenes

Each episode requires careful preparation. In Daz Studio, I have to set up the environment, position characters, and adjust lighting and angles. The scenes are quite detailed, and my old graphics card struggles to handle the load. I have to render on just one card, which slows things down but doesn’t compromise quality.

I believe the result is worth the effort. Each scene should immerse you in the atmosphere and make random encounters memorable.

What Has Been Done So Far

I’ve prepared:

• three scenes for each world — unique events tied to specific locations;
• two universal encounters that can occur regardless of which world you’re in.

For such events, a new label will appear on the path selection screen — something like “Unusual Place.” If you visit all available random encounters during a run, subsequent runs will replace them with portal locations or resource nodes. This adds a strategic layer: is it worth deviating from the main path for an unknown event?

Plans for Next Week

Next week, I’ll begin final preparations for the next game update. Tasks include:

• adding musical accompaniment for new scenes;
• checking which images are still missing;
• handling other pre-release tasks.

If everything goes according to plan, the update will see the light in early June. Stay tuned — we’ll announce the exact date separately.
