I played it and forgot about it.
I don’t share everyone else’s enthusiasm. Yes, it has an interesting visual style, plenty of erotic scenes, and a diverse cast of characters—but when you put all the pieces together, it just doesn’t resonate with me personally.
Overall, I didn’t feel any strong negativity after finishing it, so I won’t be giving it a negative review. My advice is simple: try it for yourself; maybe the game will be right up your alley.
The Nephilim
There isn’t much to say about it. Essentially, it’s a classic “one guy and four sexually promiscuous women in a house” type of project. Obviously, each of them has their own personality, but all the archetypes are, in one way or another, standard for the genre. That said, the author did try to give them at least some unique traits, which is commendable.
The visual style is distinctive, and I liked it until about the last third of the game, but then something strange and at the same time terrifying happened. It changed beyond recognition: the facial features became sharp, the art lost its previous style—in other words, graphically, the visual novel became something fundamentally different. And I didn’t care for this change.
The animations are extremely high-quality throughout the game, which is one of the biggest strengths of this project. I can’t say anything bad about the soundtrack, but nothing good either. It doesn’t ruin the atmosphere, so that’s fine. Although if I really nitpick, there is a problem: it doesn’t contribute to the atmosphere either.
The plot… Well, it ties together a bunch of scenes. That’s it. That’s its main function. In that case, the scenes themselves—the whole reason for the game—need to be top-notch. And here, that “top-notch” standard is indeed achieved and maintained for most of the playthrough. However, in the final third, there’s a decline, similar to the visuals, which I think is directly related to them.
Gangrei
This game is good for nothing but playing the one-armed bandit; the sex scenes aren’t bad, but that’s about it—that’s where the positives end. There’s simply no real plot; it’s just a setup to trap the main character in a confined space with women, and that’s pretty much it. The dialogue and character development don’t hold up to any criticism. It’s a real shame about the time wasted.

A fantastic game; I’ve replayed it many times and really hope for a sequel or a worthy successor.
I don’t know why, but it’s precisely this art style and presentation that really hooked me.
