Another week has passed, and today I want to share the results of our work. Honestly, we haven’t wasted any time — over the past seven days, we’ve accomplished quite a bit. Let me tell you about it step by step.
New Mechanic: Blessing from the Girls
Most of my time this week was dedicated to rendering images for a new game mechanic — receiving a blessing from the girls. Now, if your relationship with a girl has reached a high level, she can grant you a blessing before your next run. It will last for one journey through the portal and can give you useful bonuses.
How does it work? Before entering the portal, you’ll be offered to chat with the girls from the base camp. The system will randomly select two girls with whom you’ve built sufficiently warm relationships and offer you a choice between two blessings. It’s important to note that this currently only applies to girls from the base camp — we plan to expand this mechanic to other characters in future updates.
I’ve already rendered all the necessary images for this scene. It turned out atmospheric and detailed — I hope you’ll like it.
Android Optimization
The next important task was optimizing the game’s performance on Android devices. One player reported unstable performance on this platform — and we couldn’t ignore it.
With the help of neural networks, we analyzed the problem and found that animations were the main cause of instability. Some of them were too heavy for mobile processors, leading to freezes and crashes. We did serious work to improve animation quality and playback stability. The game should now run noticeably smoother.
Bug Fixes
During testing, we found an error in the panty thief quest — the game would crash with an error at certain moments. Additionally, placeholder sounds remained in some scenes that should have been replaced with full audio effects.
Both issues are now fixed. The game archive has been re-uploaded to all file-sharing services, so you can download the updated stable version.
Sansa Stark and the New Quest
While I was working on rendering and optimization, the writer continued working on creating the new quest. As soon as he completes the script, I’ll start creating the code and images for this storyline.
Meanwhile, I’ve already started creating images for the close interaction scenes with Sansa Stark. Soon you’ll be able to get to know her better.
