Drop Out Saga is a Visual Novel made with Ren’py. You play as a minor mob leader who wishes to leave the organization you work for because of medical complications affecting your mental health, but you’re only allowed to leave it if all other major leaders vote in your favor, allowing you to leave peacefully. In order to sway your bosses, you’re sent to an education facility undercovered as the Headmaster. There, you’re supposed to gather enough material that can be used to blackmail important politicians and cool off the heat your soon to be former employers are having. Most of the game scenes take place at a fictional private rich young adults’ college. There you find the daughters and sons of every politician, bureaucrat, chief of police or aristocrat in the city.

The story is extremely well-developed, and the plot is captivating. Honestly, even if the scenes of debauchery were blurred or absent altogether and only described in words, the story would not lose any of its charm.
And even though I’ve only played through the prologue so far, it’s still worth your time.
So far, it’s pretty mediocre, although there’s still hope that the author will do something worthwhile. Probably the main problem is that the author himself doesn’t fully understand what he wants. The plot, in which the MC abruptly jumps between different storylines, is just idiotic choices.
There are animations in the game, not the best but acceptable, and there are few h-scenes for so many years of development, but that’s okay, there are only two characters, the author has nothing more for you! And again, he couldn’t decide which scenes to make, sometimes giving choices and sometimes not.
The game can be recommended, but I think with this pace of development, you should try the game in five years or more.
This work surprised me greatly. A year ago, the novel seemed interesting but extremely questionable due to its quality. After some time, I see that the developer has improved greatly in all areas.
It’s quite an interesting project. I’ve never liked harem stories (even though there isn’t much content, it’s a direct hint), but the plot itself is not cliché at all, and the personality split gimmick is implemented acceptably. At the same time, the characters are well-developed and fleshed out, scoring 8-10 out of 10. I’ll definitely check it out after a couple of patches. I recommend reading at least half an hour and then drawing your own conclusions.
